We were so lucky to have 4 showers! Some were traditional and others were not. A big thanks to my coworkers for coming over to my house after school during the last week of school...fellow teachers know that it took a lot to leave the piles and to do lists.
These babies are already spoiled....but the little girl already has WAY more clothes than the little boy! Shame...I wonder if it will ever even out or if we will have to make it equal in other ways.
SALEM SHOWER

Although I did not make it to this shower, I was there virtually. And looking back it was pretty pathetic to join your own baby shower via S
kype....especially when it was clear that older shower guests have not seen Oprah lately and were in complete shock of how this could actually work. They were looking at the camera and completely not getting it. Oh how the times have changed! But I heard it was a big success and everyone had a good time!

I think the posing around the computer was the low point for me. :)

Or maybe it was when my mom showed up in the same dress....
don't worry...she will tell you hers was black and mine was navy.

After the shower, the girls drove all the way from Roanoke to Richmond to share food, cake, and goodies with me. Joe got a break from the hospital and Beth spent the night...although she did not really weigh enough for the chair/sleeper/bed and it kept eating her all night. What a trooper.

I opened some shower presents in the hospital. Carter helped of course!
RICHMOND SHOWER

I actually made it to this one. It was not that bad to not have to wear shoes or clean up or worry about anything!

These may actually be the cutest favors and cake. Ever.

Ryan was channeling her crafty side!

I guess it is official!
