Home

We packed up and headed home yesterday! It was an adventure to come home to John and Virginia. They both battled it out over who could hold him more...it was something. Thank you to Grandma and Granddaddy for taking them to their house for a few days so we can all settle in! We are doing great at home....ready for our first Redskins Sunday! We truly appreciate all of the kind words and well wishes....what a fun time this is in our lives!

Welcome!!!

We welcomed William Hutchinson Koontz to our family this morning at 3:27 a.m. He is 8lbs, 11 oz. and is 21 inches long. He came out wide eyed and alert! Everyone is doing great!

The First Soccer "Game"

So we made it to our first soccer game. It was something. I am not sure what I expected but I thought this whole process was hysterical. John seemed to not want to take his turn in the game. But when we finally got him out there, he was a mess that someone else got the ball and he claimed he did not get a turn! Goodness. On the other hand, Virginia NEVER once made contact with the ball but had a great time....running...laughing....and clapping!

Luckily, we recovered from soccer to enjoy a nice country band at Glen Allen Day! What a morning!

Soccer!

We were off to soccer practice! It turns out three year old soccer is all it is cracked up to be. It was hilarious. And we have not even played a game yet!

Dressed and ready with our friend Katy!

Eventually, John started to understand he should not leave the group to go kick the ball in the goal. Eventually.

And by the end, we were all pooped. But excited for the season!

And so it is September....

So we made it to September. I am pretty sure we had no idea I would still be pregnant, still on my feet, and starting school! But here we are!  We are expecting the baby at the end of this month...we will see what the next few weeks have in store for us.

This is our weekly routine....a visit to the Doctor. And don't judge that I have their water on an actual potty....we are for sure it is sanitized, right?

This is how we waste our time in here.....
