We had a great weekend in Salem with friends, family, and a baby shower!! More pics to come....but all babies are in bed and we need some downtime!

Whew....what a week!!

The week last week was a mess! We had our 15 month checkup....it went well. Except that the babies cried during the ENTIRE visit. First, Virginia got stranger danger and then John followed her crying. Yikes. He is in the 97% for height and 85% for weight. Virginia is in the 90% for height and 80% for weight. Whoa. A day or so after the shots....John broke out in hives and we had to take him back to the Dr. They say it was a side effect of the shots. Lordy!

But all was better soon!!

I hope it is a nice day tomorrow since I will be spending it at home!

We have a fighter on our hands....

Apparently the babies got into a fight at daycare. I immediately apologized and asked who was in the fight. Turns out it was with each other. Allegedly they were fussing over a beauty salon mirror. Shame. Poor John....we need some more boys in his life. He must just love looking at himself in the mirror like his Daddy. And well, maybe his hair. Grandma and Ginger say that they were both pissed at each other, screaming, and pushing. And Virginia had just had it....and scratched the bejesus out of him. Score....1 for Virginia.....0 for John.

Most parties involved were a bit happy Virginia stood up for herself. To date...she has been somewhat passive....and Granny B said it best...."Maybe she has a little of her mother in her..."

Carter Mountain

We headed out on our 1st trip to Carter Mountain today in Charlottesville! It was beautiful and super fun! It was also a good thing we got there early. There was a line of people to get in as we were leaving that looked like Field of Dreams and it went on for several miles and even on to the interstate! Crazy!

Joe thought this was a terrible idea. But it was fun!

I turn around for one second....
