And we were off to the JMU Homecoming football game! Luckily, they played UR so we got two games of cheering in for one price! We were a divided family this day...but in the end, JMU pulled it out! Go Dukes!

These kids love a tailgate....just like their Momma!
I think it is solely for the food reasons....

John sported his new t-shirt and his new football. You have to love a college bookstore when it is Homecoming. I luckily saw someone I knew in the longest line ever...and tried to get in line with her. But the older lady behind me called me out and said, "I know you are not getting in this line Missy...I have been waiting here for a long time." Check. Got the memo. But conveniently, another person I knew was directly behind her....so I jumped in. Score. I don't think it helped to have an anxious two year old with me for the lady....she must not have grandchildren.

Virginia's new shirt! I paid $14 for them. You know how cheap I am. So look at them and love them to help me justify the price.

So JMU recently put 62 million dollars into a new stadium. Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful. But it is missing one key element. A changing station in any bathroom. So this picture was taken not to document any cute kids because neither look great...but to remember the spot that I changed a poopy diaper on the cement in front of 25,000 people. Get it together JMU!

Believe me, they have really upgraded. It did NOT look like this when we went there. It is fancy now! With smoke!

We did a great job. Until the snacks wore off, lollipops were consumed, more people showed up, and it got cold. Can you spot the two year olds who were freezing?

But an impromptu Top 40 music dance party happened at half time and we were back.

One lady stopped to tell me that these kids were more entertaining than the half time show! Bonus! They do feel the music.

They loved the cheerleaders! We settled and were ready to go...then the rain started! So we rolled out, got Dave's Taverna (my fav!) to go, and headed back to Richmond. Just in time to fall asleep in the car and forget dinner. Yes, we skipped a meal.
