Fun Facts Part 6
*She literally wants to have on shoes every minute of the day.
*She has become quite "particular"...that is the word we are going with.
*.When she does not get something that she wants...she looks me straight in the eyes and says "I want DADDY."
*She can count to ten but always forgets "one" because I say "Let's count....one..." So now she thinks it starts with two.
*She surprises us often with her rendition of "Happy Birthday"...so adorable.
*She can easily tell us when she has pee-pee or poopy. Score.
*Everything she eats is yummy or good and by everything, I mean everything.
*We could estimate that she spends 80% of her day on the floor from falling and the other 20% trying to get back up. Gymnastics is not in her future.
*Virginia recently showed her strong side at daycare and they claim she screams "bloody murder"...we have no doubt this is true.
*Her upper body is so long that I recently got her some new shirts and the 2T shirts were like belly shirts...but she can still rock an 18 month pant. Bring on the dresses for summer!
Fun Facts About John:
*He runs wild in our house.
*He loves to play hide and seek but often can't contain his laughing so he misses out on a lot of the game.
*John is rocking a 7wide in shoes. The camo shoes I got at the consignment store for the summer are a nice memory at what could have been.
*He is just huge. I can't even imagine how tall he is. We had to get some 3T bathing suits for the waist...not the legs.
*In the early morning if he is up...he occupies his time by running from one end of the crib to the other and face planting into the mattress.
*He has really started talking and can say some sentences now. The grunt is a fading memory. But he does claim everything as "Maamilk"...which we are translating as "My Milk" but we are not really sure.
*If sitting near Virginia, he will remove food from her plate to put on his.
*Now that warm weather has appeared, he only wants to be outside.
*The weather has improved his ball throwing skills I must say. We are going to focus on this and his pending athletic career since we did not win the lottery last night.
*He is fascinated by others going to the potty. If you visit us, beware.
*My dream was to use the pacifier for sleeping only post Spring Break. I laugh at this now.
*They enjoy giving each other hugs, kisses, belly laughs, and the pound.
*We are really working on trying to get them to take their clothes off. This is harder than I thought. But this morning when I went in, Virginia had unzipped her footed pajamas and was trying to get her feet out. Progress.
*When I promise a show to watch, John gets out the big chairs for both and puts them right in front of the tv. Virginia takes care of getting the water cups for everyone.
*They are very helpful to each other and always hand each other a pacifier or drink. Sweet babies!
*It surprises me that they still don't talk to each other yet.

A Full Weekend

Adam and Caroline came all of the way from NYC to play this weekend!! What a fun time we all had. Virginia loved sitting in between the boys here....and although it looks like a stogie in her mouth....it is really a pretzel.
We went to the UR basketball game and Virginia discovered Adam's beard. Yes...this is completely different from how discovering Santa's beard went.
