A Trip to Salem

 We headed down to Salem this weekend to visit and play! Our first stop was to feed the ducks. They were thrilled to see the baby ducks. I was thrilled that I did not have to go in this water after John. No boundaries for that kid.

 Then we saw some baby ducks with Granny B in her backyard. Can you spot us?

 John loved their backyard....so much to explore.

 We got to play with the Busch and Huff families! The kids loved seeing Caroline, Baby Olivia, and Becca. What a fun night!

 and in the dressing up department as well. Joe insisted John was a dragon but John was very serious about himself being a fairy.  A manly fairy.

A movie to end the night is always the best!

Spring Break 2012

We headed down to Myrtle Beach for our annual trip on Spring Break! This year was a lot of fun...these kids LOVED the beach.

On the way down (about 40 minutes into the trip), John was very concerned that he could not see the beach yet. But when he did several hours later...he was thrilled.

It was nice the first few days but then it got a bit windy! Luckily it was still sunny, so we made it out every day!

I think they are "cheersing" their thumbs up....who knows. But they are earning their keep taking their chairs out to the beach each day.

Somewhere they learned "hang loose"....and love this and the thumbs up in all of the these pictures.

This trip will be remembered by their variety of prom-like photos....
