So today was a regular day in this house.
I was feeding the kids dinner and went to get Virginia more milk. I was gone for no more than 30 seconds. Upon my return, John said "Guess what! The baby likes Doritos!" Oops.
Then later tonight...I went up to check on John who was wired when going to bed. I found him struggling to find something in his pajama bottoms. He said "There is something stuck in here!" And of course I thought probably a dryer sheet or sticker, etc. Nope. Upon further inspection, I did find something. A poop ball.
And bonus as I was writing this post, I was interrupted by Joe to come upstairs. Virginia got a comb stuck in her hair and I had to cut her hair to get it out!
Oh kids, you keep me young! And never fail to surprise me.

Happy Birthday Uncle Joe!
We went up to Maryland to celebrate our Uncle Joe's 70th Birthday! So fun!!! This was the best family photo I could get. Good enough, right?
Reading with Grandma before the party guests arrived!
Clearly for those who did not get the memo....it was jean jacket day! And Virginia is even recycling one of Kendall's old jackets. Good to know we will get Kendall's jacket featured here someday in our future!
Bless this little thing. He was so good and everyone LOVED him....even when he changed into his pajamas mid-celebration!
Hanging with Granddaddy the next morning!
Well, when you have two great names to choose from...why pick another? A lot of John and Joe love in this crowd! Thanks for a great party! At one point, we thought about naming William....as a Joseph but I could not seem to manage another J name in the mix!

Spring Break 2013
We started our trip out this year with a surprise from the Easter Bunny! What fun....
until this!
It was a chilly week with unfortunate weather but we had a great time!
The kids did not seem to care that it was freezing. Amazing how they can do that! And I am beach lover but it was even too much for me most days!
Who lets their kids in the water! Ridiculous parenting!
But when it was sunny....and few and far between was it...we let them have at it!
This pretty much sums it up.
William did great....he never wore one bathing suit or touched the sand but had a good time.
And still laughed every time we were out at dinner! What a trooper. One night, a lady brought us 4 appetizer plates. Then I got him out of his car seat and she said we needed one more plate. Shame. He is huge. I politely told her he was bigger than he looks. We went for his 6 month checkup before the beach...and booked an upcoming appointment for his tube surgery.
William at 6 months:
Weight: 20 lbs (we were all shocked it was not more), 90%
Height: 29 in, well over 100%, average size of a one year old
Head: 18, 97%
He suggested again that we try to let go of one feeding for cost of formula purposes and to give us more free time. In our defense, we gave it our best. Several times. But this boy is an eater!
