Travels

And we were off....to 3 places in 48 hours! First off to Vienna....to visit Connor and Ryan! We had a blast at Viva Vienna...with no pics to show for it. See Graeme...that is what happens when I don't bring my camera! Then we were off to Ashburn to visit with Maddie and Collin. We celebrated Mary's "30th" birthday a few years too late. But it was fun no less.

This was a battle of bats. Yowza.

Virginia got quickly settled and loved to show off her business.

Then we headed to Gainesville and visited Carter and Cooper. The kids had a blast at Aunt Ashley's pool!

Snack time.....

A preview of our two weeks at the beach this summer....battle of the toys.

Oh what the beach will bring....................3 two year olds!

Fun!

Who doesn't love dessert???

Me too!!

Mike and Cherie came to play! So fun!

And then our friends Will and Brian!

The $5 special at Walmart this week...score!

It was left up to 3 men to handle 4 kids on Saturday night and it was a success.

They even handled breakfast! Because some of us ladies needed to sleep in.....

On Sunday, we got out our new sprinkler...and this is how popular it was for the first 10 minutes...

until we realized we could drink the water.

Those are some bellies!

It could have been a smidge cold........

Happy Belated Retirement Aunt Patty

Last month, we traveled to Williamsburg to attend my Aunt Patty's retirement party! We had so much fun....and just got these pictures! We are so proud of you Patty!!

Even my cousin, Preston, made it in...he is always off traveling and living somewhere so it was so nice to play in the states!

When my hair is short, Granny B and I look exactly the same! Thank you genetics!

And when you are trying to keep two babies away from spoiling a not yet blown out candles cake...this is what you do!

Virginia is eyeing up that cake.

Thanks Aunt Mona for your help...this was good practice for your new twin boy grandbabies!!

A final shot...this was at 10:00.....we made it a long way before pajamas and pacis!

Race Weekend

Well, we made it to one of two races this weekend! First up, we went to my school sponsored 5K in honor of our dear friend's (and guidance counselor) son, Kirk. The babies did great....it was 3 miles and rained a smidge....they lasted from 6:45-11:30! And yes, we ate our way through it. We were able to skip lunch this day. They did scream "OUT!!!" and "WALK!!!" quite a bit but we pushed through. The shame is that these t-shirts are kid size small...and are not that big. Our 2nd race was the March of Dimes. When we woke, it was raining and 5 miles seemed like a lot to walk and a lot of snacks to prepare. We TRULY appreciate all of your support...we raised $1200!! YAY!!!!

Our two race leaders and organizers and two of my bestest friends! Congrats Cortney and Kristina on a ridiculously successful race and planning!

The man of the hour, Kirk, and his dog Bella. Kirk was in a biking accident and is a true role model for us all. We love you!

This was his 4th banana.

And he is acting like he has not eaten at all.

I guess we might need to purchase a bubble machine. It was a highlight.

Seems Like Old Times

Two babies in my arms!!!! We had a great time visiting with the Nall family and for Virginia and John to meet their cousins...I loved every minute of it!

These eyes remind me of John was he was a baby!! Roman and Oliver were sweet as they can be and let me hold them all night!

And here are our babies with the new babies. They seem so big.

Virginia loved when they got their diaper changed.

She could not get enough. And one of them could not get enough and STOLE two of the baby toys. We found them in our bag when we got home. Oops.

A proud Grandma and Daddy! And Mommy in the back!
