Happy Early Easter

A good start to a weekend....we went out to dinner and had a lovely evening. I had quite a bit of dinner left. We packed it up and brought it home. About a half of a block down the road, I see a white something slide off the car. My first thought....it was snow. Ok. No. Oh yeah....the food.

Allison: Shame. That was my dinner that just fell off the car.
Joe: Really?
Allison: Oh yeah.

About a minute passes.

Allison: I am really sad about my food falling off the car.
Joe: Well...better that.
Allison: What?
Joe: Better than a baby.

So true Joe. So true.

We gave the babies a bath together for the first time. It was ok. John I am sure loved it. I don't know how much Virginia liked John peeing on her immediately when they got in the tub.

It did get a bit awkward when John was massaging her feet.

Our Easter look!!! Thanks Granny B....we love them!!!

And he starts....

And keeps going....

Poor Virginia!

Jersey Shore

We were big fans of the Jersey Shore show in this house. We put the kids in track suits and coordinating sweat outfits in it's honor on Friday.

P.S.

It is free to walk...so all of you local folks who aren't going to the Nascar race the day before...come walk with me!

A Surprise!

I think that the morning time might just be our favorite time of day!

Honestly...are they toddlers????

The Schlussel Family came over to play!!

Virginia was a bit unruly!

And then...the doorball rang...a surprise visitor....it was Lisa Roday! Lisa was our March of Dimes super lady while we all were in the hospital. Sarah and Lisa are friends and Sarah surprised me with her as a special guest!! Thank you!!!!! It was so great to catch up! If you are interested in donating to our KOONTZ KIDS TEAM walk for the March of Dimes....see the site:
http://www.marchforbabies.org/allisonkoontz

While they were here, Virginia decided to feed herself puffs....twice!!!!!! Notice John fading...

and then mid-meal...he was out!

Future ballerina....look at that point! Watch out Joan Downing....your legacy reigns on!

Virginia has decided it is fun to pull off the bandage we have on her knee. All 49 cents for each one! So we have resorted to the knee pad. At least it is cute!

Road Trippin....

We were off this weekend. First stop....Philly...to see some of my girlfriends and families from high school. A very different year from this time last year when we got together. Last year it was 8 adults. This year 8 adults plus 4 babies under 8 months old. The babies did great with each other! We left Sunday morning and headed to Baltimore for our niece Kendall's baptism and a little Koontz family time. What a lovely service and lunch! Thanks Aunt Kelly and Uncle Mike!

When Riley was here in September....she got all excited around John. Well this time, the love was not all on one side of the table!!

Virginia and Caroline back together again!

Virginia and John are 8.5 months, Caroline is 5 months old, and Riley is two weeks younger than the babies!!

John was making sure everyone knew that Riley belonged to him.

And it is not like she was innocent either.

His face when looking at her.....awwww!!!

Dressed up for church....it was the babies first time and they did great. Sorry about the spit up on your beautiful outfit Grandma!

Kendall...the star of the day!!!

Thanks Aunt Meaghan for our new hat....perfect for our trip to the beach in a few weeks...

and for the new homemade skirts!!

Home again...yay!!!

A Busy Little Leprechaun

So a little leprechaun visited us today.....he caused quite a stir in the crib this morning...and in the potty this afternoon!!! We showed up to the doctor's office today for our last RSV shots (woohoo!!!) and the babies were a disaster. They apparently tried green cookies at daycare. That should be something when it comes out later. We hope everyone had a fun St. Patrick's Day!!!

P.S. John weighed in at 20 lbs. and Virginia weighed in at 18 lbs. 12 oz. Whoa!

He was fascinated with her bow this morning.

Really?

The evidence of a leprechaun....

And this is what we looked like rolling up to the doctor's office. Shame.

And the potty!!!! The leprechaun needed to make a pit stop on his way out....
