Joe had been trying to convince me to stop working. I never thought I would still be working, so I tried to push it out for a bit despite the question of whether I was having real contractions or just pretend ones over last weekend. So we compromised and last Tuesday, I stopped work! Just in time to spend some time at the hospital to do my pre-surgery information and check in with the doctor. All looked well! Late Tuesday night, it became clear that my water broke! So we called our neighbor to come stay with the kids, called the grandparents to let them know, and I stalked my doctor just in case he wanted to come in and do the surgery! We made it to the ER around 2:00...found out my doctor was not coming...then surprise he was...then William was born at 3:27 a.m.
We spent several days in the hospital and enjoyed seeing John and Virginia each day! We went to the doctor today and had a good report!
