Carter Mountain and Beyond....

So we were off again to Carter Mountain! When Virginia woke up this morning, it was all she could talk about....amongst the other demands and random statements she was making of course. And it proved worthy with fresh, hot apple cider donuts for us!

He was obviously a fan.

The classic apple photos we have come to love!

And John too...after two tries. The first he hit his head. And it took 2 hours for him to go back...but he did!!

The hayride was a hit!

And here is how it went apple picking. Mommy: Get an apple and put it in our bag. Kids: Grab every apple...take a bite and throw it down on the ground. Sorry folks that are going to Carter Mountain....the Granny Smith and Golden Delicious aisles...are spoken for. See? Wait for it....yep...throw it down. It did not help that we started with Granny Smith and they were so into it but did not care for the sour taste.

Point proven.

Grab it! YAY!

Bite it and throw it down. Boo!

Although John is two inches taller than she is.....this chart was fun!

Mommy: Just sit on the pumpkins for a cute photo for one second. Kids: OK!

Mommy: Oops....forget about the sign. Let's go....move on!

We had a blast and when we left I said..."Goodbye Carter Mountain!" Virgina: "Goodbye pumpkins and apples......" John: "Goodbye donuts......."

So we were then off to Ashley and Brian's house!!

Notice Cooper's pile of sand. Notice Virginia's. We don't have a sand table for a good reason.

These boys are WILD together. It was a lot of "no" time issued by all mothers. But they do love to play together.
