Well it's that time of year again!!! In my mind, football should be chilly weather but the season must start at some point. And in Richmond....it is always a hot start. We got our season tickets again to the University of Richmond football games....they can be credited for our free trip to Hawaii...so how could we say no???

Obviously...this kid will play football anytime, anywhere! I attribute this to my Salem roots.
And poor Virginia...have they ever not eaten something? She devoured this wing. Gross.Wipes necessary. Can you tell it was hot? She was literally sweating the entire time.
Off to visit some friends....lucky that our wagon matches the red, white, and blue color scheme at UR! We even visited with Courtney and Eddie!
Completely worn out. Too much fun. Too much heat. We came home and let Daddy enjoy the game by himself this time. And also because babysitting would have cost us a pretty penny for a day of tailgating, game, tailgating again and then home. Go Spiders! We look forward to the Redskins opener tomorrow....already have the jerseys ready!P.S. Thanks Aunt Meaghan for the bows.....they go great with our Spider gear!
Still can't believe you left just as we were getting there. Unbelievable timing! Will have to coordinate better next time.
