Everything else was great! He was impressed with their weight gain and how much they are eating! He was happy at how alert they both are now! Now....on to sleeping through the night. He said my expectations were not too high....let's do this babies!

That is awesome!!! But bittersweet, I know. Remember: savor every moment...they grow up so quick!!! Glad to hear sleeping through the night is on the horizon. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that the babies are doing so well! They are such talented eaters :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have better luck with sleeping through the night than we did. 12 months...and we tried EVERYTHING. It only took her walking to do it - and she sleeps great at night ever since! Remember, don't beat yourself up if they don't do it...they really are in control.
You can take or leave this "advice" but it worked for us. We thought that by keeping the boys up "late" until 9 or 10 at night that they would sleep better and longer through the night. However, some very wise person suggested we try to let them go to sleep when they wanted and not to wake them back up or keep them up longer than they wanted....so after their last bottle around 6:30 or 7:00pm we "put them to bed". Ever since they have been sleeping 11 - 12 hours each night. Turns out that sometimes sleep deprived babies sleep less........unlike parents :)
ReplyDeleteJust a thought. It would be worth a try to let them see how they would sleep by putting them to bed early.
Sounds like all is well. It is hard to believe how fast your babies are getting so big! I love looking at your pictures and it brings back lots of precious memories!
