So this is the day in future years that we will take off work to go have lunch with babies. Too fun....that is what happens when you have summer birthdays....you have to celebrate HALF birthdays! I hope their future teachers agree!
We had a big night planned....with presents and ice cream cake and candles....but instead we are dealing with wounded legs after a day of shots. We visited the pediatrician today and got a wonderful report! He agreed that we may want to move to 3 jars a day...what fatties! We got John checked out because he has had a cough since December....but he was fine, even though apparently he rebelled and did not sleep at daycare. But instead decided to cry all day. Lucky for them both, we just got our RSV shots today and have to go back next week for the regular 6 month shots.
Kevin just had his half birthday January 9 and our tradition is brownies for half birthdays.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture on the chair. Miss Joe next to the sign this month. I was hoping he'd found a man-onesie on Ebay for this month's picture.
So neat to see the 1 mo / 6 mo comparison - wow! What is sticking out of the top of John's head!?!? The pic of them both "sitting up" and smiling is priceless! Too cute! The baby's half birthday is Colin's real birthday and vice-versa ;-).
ReplyDeleteThose are some good looking babies.
ReplyDeleteHappy half-birthday!
