Happy New Year 2010

We want to wish you all a fun and hopeful new year! We have had a challenging and fantastic year. We started the year with the hope of having "a" baby...on New Year's Day last year, I started getting excited that I might be pregnant. From finding out the thrilling news it was twins....to an endless amount of bedrest...to an emergency surgery...to wanting a wheelchair ride outside....to visiting two 3 lbs babies in the hospital for 5 1/2 weeks...to bringing two wonderful babies home. What a year!!!

And they have come so far! It is unbelievable. Just in the past week, they have started to notice each other. Hilarious. And Virginia has developed quite the personality lately. She is desperate for people to look at her so she can smile at them. Too cute. This morning, we woke to the sounds of them talking to each other. It was hysterical...and made getting out of bed at 7:15 after New Year's Eve a little bit easier. Well not that much easier.
